One 2013 Golden Guinea £2, circulated and sold loose as pictured. Released in 2013, the design celebrated the coin which took its name from the African country where much of the gold it was produced with was mined, 200 years after it was first used. According to The Royal Mint, the coin has a mintage of 2,990,000.
